NYFW Zimmermann Fall/Winter 2017 Runway
This past week at NYFW, I was lucky enough to attend the Zimmerman 2017 Fall/Winter runway show. The show was incredible. It all began with one of the loudest, most powerful noise I have heard. Clearly, it was a precursor to the empowering, beautiful collection they were going to show. The collection, dubbed Maples, was named so based on the building that housed students of the Women’s College at the University of Sydney after World War I. The ‘power’ theme prevailed throughout the show and in all of the looks.
Models dawned blazers with feminine, beautifully detailed slacks. Lace, silk, and loose silhouettes kept the looks feminine and romantic. The sequined dress was such an incredible piece to see come down the runway. I could actually hear the sequins swishing back and forth. Needless to say, a very powerful piece. New to Zimmermann were the over-sized shearling jackets that came in black and a pastel pink. They are amazing. The whole collection remained wearable and relatable, something that is lost so often on the runway. Straying away slightly from the rest of the looks were the kimono type coats that featured Asian designs. Still incredible, the Asian floral print of the kimonos killed it.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

Fashion bloggers Margo & Me, Charlotte Groeneveld of the Fashion Guitar, Olivia Palermo, and Aimee Song of Song of Style. It was incredible to be watching the new fashion unfolding with so many other people who appreciate it so much. Not to mention I have been a fan of all of their blogs for so long. Olivia Culpo and Shay Mitchell also made appearances and looked absolutely fabulous.
All in all it was another amazing show from Zimmermann, one of our favorites!!![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” images=”904,905,906″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator color=”black” style=”dotted” border_width=”5″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
